I built the RMS Empress of Ireland because I like historical ships. The Empress of Ireland was a steam-powered ocean liner built in 1905. Not many people know about this ship and I wanted to give people an opportunity to learn about it in Lego form. This ship was Canadian and it sank in the St Lawrence River on May 29, 1914. I hope that this Lego model will inspire people to learn about interesting engineering feats of the past.
This Lego creation is fairly easy to build while still allowing for a lot of detail.
