Martian Tripod based on the design from the 2005 Steven Spielberg movie.
Wow. These things sent a shiver up my spine when I saw the film back in 2005. I've always been a huge War of the Worlds fan, and was really impressed by the visualisation of the tripods in the Spielberg movie.
Here's my version. I really wanted to suggest the massive scale here hence the tree, although it still stands up nicely in size against a minifig.
The actual model stands approx 13" tall.
Would love to see something like this as a set. Hope you like it.
