I am inspired by the great Isambard Kingdom Brunel and present his famous Royal Albert Bridge in Saltash, Cornwall. Built in 1859, this railway bridge spans the Tamar River. It is a ‘Bowstring Suspension Bridge’ that is both iconic and beautifully sculptural.
The bridge would carry famous locomotives such as:
and the Stanier Black 5
These engines I have recreated and entered into LEGO Ideas – hopefully you enjoy these models and I would be grateful of your support (links above!).
I hope this model successfully portrays to the LEGO Community my passion and energy for LEGO modelling. Whilst I am relentless as my own critic, I am keen to incorporate through updates any constructive feedback from fellow LEGO enthusiasts. Ultimately, my aim is to make this model truly awesome, for the enjoyment of all.
