Talespin Seaduck

TaleSpin was an awesome animated Disney TV show starring Baloo from the Jungle Book as an intrepid pilot of a supercharged amphibious cargo plane called the Seaduck. The name of the show is a play on "tailspin", the rapid descent of an aircraft in a steep spiral. The two words in the show's name, tale and spin, are a way to describe telling a story. TaleSpin is set in the fictional city of Cape Suzette, where Baloo, with his navigator Kit Cloudkicker, and mechanic Wildcat, fly cargo for "Higher for Hire" owner Rebecca Cunningham and her daughter Molly.  The main antagonist of the series is the dreaded air pirate Don Karnage who leads a band of pirates in his plane the Tri-wing Terror which he uses to try and steal cargo from the Seaduck.

This Lego Ideas submission includes both the Seaduck and the Tri-wing Terror. The Seaduck is the larger yellow plane, with a wingspan of 64 studs. It has 3 doors and a removable interior for easy access. The Tri-wing Terror is the small black airplane, distinguished by three red wings 32 studs wide, and a large white numeral 1 on the tail.

While there are no minifigures in this submission, Ideally if selected to become a real set, it would come with the 6 main characters (Baloo, Kit Cloudkicker, Wildcat, Rebecca Cunningham, Molly Cunningham, and Don Karnage) It would be feasible to produce the minifigures without any new parts if Lego Chima animal headgear molds were repurposed (although custom heads would be sweet).
