The Peaceful Park

Hi! Prepare to have a break in the new city park!

 

This model is made on a 48x48 baseplate to have enough room to build a pleasant and airy place. The park is surrounded by walls, with a large opening onto the sidewalk, and lattices to let in light and air. In the center of the park, a fountain will help you relax and enjoy the silence and quiet. In the rear left corner of the courtyard, you’ll find a tree with a seat for relaxing underneath. In the two rear corners, you’ll find two stairs to the upper floor. Along the walls, you will also find benches where you can sit and enjoy the calm of the place. On the first floor, there are two benches under a roof covering the sides. To make the first floor more pleasant, flowers grow down from the roof. I didn't put minifigs because I preferred to let you choose which characters you'd like to put in this park.

 

I built it because after having designed buildings, cars, roads and a car park, I wanted to design a calm place where people and minifigs can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. With that building, I wanted to create a park which could fit with the modular buildings, despite its large dimensions.

 

I think it could be a great lego set because the lego modular serie has no park yet. Despite the exceptional dimensions, I think it will perfectly fit into a modular town and the dimensions can be adjusted with 16x32 baseplates (don’t hesitate to ask me images of how dimensions could be adjusted in a comment). With this model, your town will have a pleasant place where minifigs can enjoy the calm.
