Exploration Mech

The Galactic Exploration Corps Mech help to expand the frontiers of known space, protecting settlers and explorers from potential new menaces. Powerful and versatile, these units are always available wherever they are needed.

The Sky Vanguard acts as a forward scout. Its powerful jetpack —which can be controlled remotely— gives it the same flight capability as a small space fighter.

They are accompanied on their missions by the innovative flying MiniDroid. This small robot is equipped with potent sensors, and has a database of all known civilizations. In addition to exploring, it serves as a holographic communicator, alarm clock and camping refrigerator.

This model is a revision of a project that I was published 8 years ago with my old account: Lilac Hat Brick. In this version I have been able to improve the fit of the front armor, which previously did not close satisfactorily.

I don't think there are any mech models with the Classic Space aesthetic, and I think the Exploration Mech would be a good complement to that theme.

As for the presentation… The initial animation was much more challenging than I expected. I hope you like it!
