I offer a tribute to an icon - the 1953 American LaFrance Fire Engine (2-Door 700 Series Truck). This classic fire engine would make a great addition to the LEGO Fire Brigade or any LEGO City layout. The fire engine is a 6-stud-wide playable model.
The model features a driver seat, a rear-facing passenger seat, and side handles for two additional firefighters. The top is removable to allow access to the cab interior. The fire engine is outfitted with two sets of hose (one on the side and one in the back), an extending ladder, two axes, and two fire extinguishers.
I built the model using LEGO Digital Designer. Thank you, kindly, for the comments and support!

Here you can see the extending ladder, one of the axes, and a firefighter using the far side handle.
With this view you can see the rear-facing passenger seat, the two sets of hose (one on the side and another in the back), as well as the two fire extinguishers and the second ax.
Here is a photo of an actual 1953 American LaFrance Fire Engine.
