History of the real car

The Continental Mark IV is a luxury car from the American automobile manufacturer Lincoln. Lincoln is a division of the Ford Motor Company. This specific model was build from 1972 to 1976. The car has a 7.5 L V8 with 215 hp and a 3-speed automatic transmission.

About the build

The car is build in sand blue, which matches perfectly with the white roof. The roof of the real car was made of vinyl. The doors, bonnet and tailgate can be opened. The Continental comes with a detailed Ford 385 big block V8 engine in the original blue color. The number plate of the car is customized with MARK4 lettering. Two detailed front seats und a back seat are part of the interior. You can easily switch the setting of the pop-up headlights.

The build is made with BrickLink Studio and consists of approximately 1390 parts. The scale of the Continental is around 1:15. The 16 stud width matches with other cars from Lego. The measurements of the build are approx. 345x128x100 mm.
