Wrexham Y Cae Ras was built in 1807, making it the oldest international football ground in the world! Wrexham A.F.C. was founded in 1864, making it the oldest football club in Wales, and the third oldest professional association football team in the WORLD!
Now rising to new levels of popularity and fame thanks to the Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney buying the club, and the Emmy winning docu-series "Welcome To Wrexham", I believe the Stadium deserves a spot in the fans' homes.
I've lived just down the road from wrexham for a couple years now, and I have enjoyed following the team's rise into League 1 and the positivity flowing into the town. Going to watch the games in the grounds or in The Turf, there is always good times and cheerful people. I think it is time the people of wrexham get to have their favorite club on display at home.
I hope you support this project, it means a lot to me and I'm sure it would mean a lot to many, many more.
