Mediterranean House

Traditional white Mediterranean houses are a common sight in many countries throughout the region, such as Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and Morocco, among others. Design elements of such houses vary depending on the region. For example, in the Turkish city of Bodrum, triangles similar to cat ears are installed at the corners of a flat roof. In different countries, locals are very fond of decorating their houses with ceramic plates with drawings, for example, this way you can beautifully mark your house number.
Nowadays, solar panels are installed on the roofs that heat the water in the tanks - so you can enjoy a hot shower even after sunset.
The Mediterranean region has a huge variety of beautiful plants. It is amazing that plants that I used to see in the form of small houseplants can grow to enormous sizes here in the wild. Also, noteworthy is Opuntia - a cactus whose red prickly fruits can be eaten.

I have always been fascinated by the fact that the design of such traditional housing is not standardized, and the location of individual parts of the house relative to each other depends on the terrain. Therefore, each house looks different. When the houses are side by side, everything together looks like an intricate pattern of white cubes, blue windows and doors, and stairs of various shapes.
