Using old photographs and images from internet maps and street views, I recreated a Victorian house in Yonkers, NY that was built in the year 1900. Recreating the house this way really makes me appreciate the building techniques of architects in the Victorian era. I believe recreating historical styles in Lego would give people a personal appreciation for architectural history. This house is built into a hillside and features a winding staircase, a rear solarium, and a pergola with wisteria growing on it. The model has 1,197 parts.
