Reimagine the classical tales of some of Beatrix Potter’s most iconic characters with LEGO bricks. Build, play and display three iconic tales depicting scenes inspired from some of Potter’s most famous works: Jemima Puddle-Duck (1908), Peter Rabbit (1902) and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle (1905).
Inspiration
Ever since I was a child, I’ve always been a huge fan of Beatrix Potter’s books. The Lake District is a magical location that holds a special place in my heart; it is one of the main influences that inspired me to create The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends.
The World of Peter Rabbit has always fascinated me, Potter’s ingenuity to transform nature into timeless tales is a thing to admire. After all, what would make a better combination than LEGO and Beatrix Potter’s renowned work?
Description
- Includes three buildable LEGO characters: Jemima Puddle-Duck, Peter Rabbit and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.
- Jemima Puddle-Duck’s delightful build features Mr. Tod’s summer residence complete with tall fox-glove, collie-dog Kep, four ducklings, nine eggs, wood-shed with opening door, vast quantity of feathers, logs, newspaper, cart-road, lantern, display stand with printed book and tile, enough herbs for stuffing a roast duck and Jemima Puddle-Duck wearing a shawl and a poke bonnet (998 pieces).
- Peter Rabbit’s regal build features Mr. McGregor’s garden complete with Cumbrian dry stone wall, hedge, sunflower, raised bed with radishes, cabbage patch, cobblestone path, old mouse with large pea, white cat staring at some gold-fish, Mrs. McGregor's pie, watering-can, flower-pot, sieve, gooseberry net, shovel with perched C. Robin, display stand with printed book and tile, a gate big enough for a little rabbit to squeeze under and Peter Rabbit wearing his iconic blue jacket (1089 pieces).
- Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle’s wonderful build features a cosy farm kitchen complete with a plate rack, warm fireplace mantel with decor, a flagged floor and wooden beams, table with iron, basin of starch, little scarlet waistcoat belonging to C. Robin, Lucie’s missing pocket-handkins, washing basket, key, display stand with printed book and tile, a pair of Sally Henny-penny’s worn out stockings and Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle wearing a tucked up print gown with a large apron over her striped petticoat (878 pieces).
- This set includes 2965 pieces, each build features an 18x34-stud display stand.
I believe that The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends would make a fantastic addition to the LEGO universe; the builds are designed to bring Beatrix Potter's creations to life by resonating the nature of each classic story with the imagination of the builder. This idea consists of three core components, thus, being ideal for friends and families to build, play, and display the iconic tales of Peter Rabbit and Friends.
