Horseshoe crabs are fascinating animals. This arthropods (related to arachnids such as spiders, ticks, and scorpions) belongs to the family of the Limulidae, which fossils records goes back to 440 million years!
Primitive but efficient and functional design, spooky chitinous armor, strange blue blood properties, this animal deserves to be better known and preserved: its populations declines all around the world, due to coastal habitat destruction and overharvesting.
This little Lego set is easily built with common Lego parts and and will soon be able to adorn your shelves.
