I'm not going to hide it, I'm a huge fan of Metal Slug, so I decided to make a litte tribute to it.
For the ones not familiar with this franchise, it's a long lasting series of action arcade games set in a sci-fi dieselpunk universe. Metal Slug games are know of their master craft of pixel art and animation. Series set the bar so high, despite 25 years passing, no other game came even close to that. Despite their age, games are still ported to new generations of gaming devices as their gameplay and visual design is timeless and pure fun.
About the set:
- contains the poster boy of the series and its title - Metal Slug Super Vehicle 001
- 2 minifigures of main protagonists of the series - player one and player two - Marco and Tarma
- brick build in-game powerup
- funny crank machine which can be found in some of the levels
- "IN" in-game sign, informing the players of drivabe vehicle (model can store a lying minifigure in it's hull)
- all done in arround 520 pieces (124 of which are tread links)
Hope you enjoy this Idea and be willing to help to making it happen, 80s/90s dieselpunk needs some more representation as it's one of the coolest looking concepts out there.
