México City Metro

Shortened as the STC (Sistema de Transporte Colectivo or Collective Transport System) the Metro train of México capital city started offering service since late 60´s being the biggest system of the country that still operating today and has a total of 12 lines across the whole city, going to every place with more than 190 stations which are iconic by their simbology and distinctive features like a stair with piano keys, art, elevated stations, etc.

This transport system is also known for being the cheapest in comparation to other cities trains like London, New York or Tokyo, daily it transports millions of people to their jobs, school or houses and is alos connected to other transport methods.

This metro model includes a detailed interior with seats and holders for the standing people on rush hours, and of course the driver cabin with a coffee mug to have a nice trip trough stations along the city; colors and shape are based on NM-02 train from the Line 2 and line 7 that have more than 20 km of length, this train is part of the most modern ones introduced in the lines renovations with interior improvements to be more efficient.

As a curious fact a single train of this metro system can carry about 1550 people! Let me know if you would like to see this as an official lego set :)
