Build Your Own Lego Wall Clock!

This wall clock incorporates a stylish and sophisticated design that would be an ideal addition to anyones kitchen, bedroom or office wall. The clock ingeniously incorporates space for a standard battery operated quartz clock mechanism (not included but shown for illustrative purposes) and utilises SNOT (studs not on top) techniques to maintain a smooth and classic appearance.

The white face is one stud in width with a seamlessly joined one stud width black outer band, which is curved at the corners. The bricks in the lower half of the model are actually upside down to maintain symmetry. Various techniques have been used to ensure that the top and bottom halves are tightly connected, whilst ensuring that the clock mechanism can be centred correctly.

On the reverse, there is provision for a standard clock mechanism to be firmly held in place by surrounding bricks and there is a built in catch to allow for hanging.
