PRESENTATION
NAPLES CORNER is a modular structure composed of three main buildings that recall the city of Naples, a metropolis in southern Italy, the home of Pizza.
The MOC is structured by a square overlooking the sea called Piazza Italia, a stepped pedestrian alley called Via Vesuvio, and an uphill road street called Via Costiera Amalfitana.
DESCRIPTION
The Moc is characterized by a brick museum overlooking Piazza Italia, where my microscale works are represented, including the reconstruction of a Ligurian landscape, the village of Portofino, and my medieval castles in the three seasons, winter, autumn and spring ; the building on the right which overlooks the sea is made up of three floors.
On the left, still facing Piazza Italia, there is the pizzeria made up of three floors (plus attic), with an external terrace for typical Italian dinners and aperitifs.
In the rear part we find a building on three levels, with a wine cellar in the underground part with entrance from Via Costiera Amalfitana, and two floors above ground which represent a residential apartment with entrance from Via Vesuvio.
The beginning of Piazza Italia is surrounded by a typical Italian vehicle, called APE, which transports fruit and vegetables to the local market, typical lights of southern Italy decorate the Amalfi Coast Road, while surrounding the work we find some palm trees and prickly pear plants, typical of the Mediterranean scrub.
Inside the moc there are 13 minifigures + 1 statue.
2 children and 1 teenager playing football in the street, 1 fruit and vegetable street vendor, 1 resident violinist, 1 waiter, 1 pizza chef, 2 tourists with a baby, 1 fisherman, a construction worker, 1 postman.
There are also 10 animals
MEASURES
The work weighs approximately 3700 grams, for a total of 14 minifigures and 4600 bricks.
It measures 35 centimeters wide, 32 deep and 37 high.
WHY VOTE FOR ME?
My work wants to represent a piece of Italy that is known throughout the world through Pizza, and given my origins from southern Italy, I hope to convey to all of you the same emotions that I felt when reproducing this moc.
