This is my mini / micro version of LEGO Crocodile Locomotive set that I was lucky enough to have for my birthday a few years ago! My large version has power functions and regularly runs round my LEGO Railway layout – and I used this model as my first reference when constructing my draft design.
Building in micro was a challenge – balancing the limitation of the small size against my passion for maintaining close attention to detail. I have referred to many online images so hopefully this model inspires the LEGO Community in the same way as the other trains in my profile have. My micro model can corner by pivoting between couplings just like the big version. My version has just 582 pieces and its chassis is only 4 studs wide and its body is 5 studs wide. It's LEGO Narrow Gauge - and as an added bonus could run on LEGO Friends 12 pc Lot Blue Roller Coaster Train Track 85976 + 25086 !!!
