Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
There have been a few James Webb Space Telescopes on Lego Ideas, but none this small. At just 99 parts, this mini build makes a nice desk or shelf piece for those with smaller spaces.
I was originally inspired to build this after the successful and much anticipated launch of the JWST in late 2021. At the time, I had a 2 year old who was very into Duplo. I hadn't built with Lego since being a kid myself, so I decided to order some pieces to see if I could build the JWST, on a super small scale as a challenge and to save money. A few prototypes later, here is my creation. I've always been hugely inspired by space exploration. I hope this mini build can inspire others to maybe get back into building Lego, or give it a try for the first time.
