storm chaser vehicle

The armored storm chaser or tornado-interception vehicle is designed to withstand 220 mile winds with its heavy-duty armor plating and sliding skirts. 

This model follows the design of the actual car by including: sliding skirts, observing dome and antenna.  The cabin for the driver and onboard meteorologist is accessible through the detachable roof. The model also includes a compartment for the camera.

Another feature in this project is the weather TV station with reception room, filming studio, radar dish, and tornado alarm.
