Pete the Cat and His 4 Groovy Buttons

Based on the children’s book Pete the Cat and His 4 Groovy Buttons by Eric Litwin and James Dean.  Pete the Cat loses all 4 of his groovy buttons but never loses his cool. 

Pete provides a perfect example of how to be flexible and keep things in perspective in response to unexpected changes in our lives.  No matter what, he keeps on singing his funky song.   Lego fans can take Pete’s very timely message to heart while popping his buttons off and posing him in mega chill responses such as skateboarding, eating an ice cream and surfing.

I challenged myself to make this build with only Lego pieces I had in my home.  I built Pete barefoot although he loves his white shoes, but that is another story...
