☀️🌵🌷 A blooming desert flower!
About
This model is a round planter bowl of Sand Verbena flowers (specifically the Abronia villosa). The Sand Verbena is also commonly named desert sand verbena and chaparral sand verbena. The model includes a round planter bowl, Sand Verbenas, leaves, and “soil.” The Sand Verbena is made similarly to trees in the 21054 LEGO Architecture White House set. The “soil” is many 1 x 1 studs in brown and dark brown.
The Idea
The idea was, strangely, inspired by flower stem parts. I found the many different shapes and forms of flower stem parts used in sets clever. I found it particularly unique how the designer used these parts on trees in the 21054 LEGO Architecture White House set. Seeing the usage instantly reminded me of the Sand Verbena! So I created it using the same basis in the set!
