Autumn in the City

This gorgeous green townhouse belongs to Ben and Jake, a old married couple who share a love of music, romantic dinners on the roof and basking in the sun in their private courtyard. They've owned their oasis in the city for decades and indulged their love of interior design all throought their home. In addition to a grand entry and sophisticated living room there's a basement music room and a drool-worthy chef's kitchen. The top floor is occupied by their bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a serene bathroom with a walk-out balcony. Currently Ben is relaxing with a soak in the tub while Jake listens to music in the basement. #couplegoals

Outside the townhouse there is a family out for a day in the city. The mum is preparing the local community garden for the cold weather season while her baby plays in his playpen nearby. The dad and daughter have discovered a little free library and are keen to see what new books they can find.

Walking by is Kian and his pug Harry on their daily outing. This is Harry's favourite route because it takes him to a secret doggy door that leads to a hidden tunnel entry into the park. Inside the tunnel is a basket and sometimes there's even a bone waiting for Harry! Wonder who keeps leaving tasty treats for this good dog?

Could it be Norm - the grumpy newspaper stand owner who seems to be perpetually annoyed by everyone and everything? Maybe Norm isn't the curmudgeon he seems to be…maybe he’s a secret sucker for Harry's charming furry face? Who knows...

Or it could be Pat - the owner of the corner hotdog stand. She's been known to slip a treat to Harry - could she be the benefactor of bones?

This build is a celebration of my love of urban communities and the characters that make up the fabric of a community. I hope you enjoy building this set, and discovering all the little details, as much as I did when designing it all :)

This build is 38 studs wide and 32 studs deep. There are technic joiners on all four sides for maximum integration with other city blocks.
