This model brings to life a pyramid that could have existed in ancient times. With the continuing interest in ancient civilizations, this is a fun way to experience those years of old. It also provides a lot of flexibility in design since the individual internal floors can be arranged in a number of ways. Structural columns and staircases are critical to the design but other than those, the floor plans are up to the builder’s imagination!
The pyramid consists of three removable floors and a hinge so that it can be split down the middle to show the detail of the individual floors.
As designed and built in the photos, the pyramid took around 1800 pieces and 12 hours to complete by a relatively expert LEGO builder.
