Rove the Moon with this minifigure scale Apollo Lunar Rover! First used by Dave Scott and Jim Irwin of Apollo 15, this vehicle helped the astronauts conduct scientific research on the Moon far faster than ever before. Although not the fastest thing out their (top speed 11 mph) the Lunar Rover was a terrific machine. Three were built and flew on Apollos 15, 16 and 17, and together logged over 56 miles without ever breaking down.
This LEGO model is minifigure scale (1:40) and contains 147 pieces. Several warm gold and metalized silver bricks are included. The rover is equipped with rock collection tools and bags, rotatable antennas, a removable camera and a detailed control console.
