Artist's Dummy

An artist's dummy is used as a model for any major art form. LEGO, on the other hand, is one of the few major art forms that doesn't involve using a dummy.

Until now, that is.

This project is an entirely brick-built artist's dummy. This model includes many details from an actual dummy, including most of the articulation of an actual dummy. Don't believe me? I have included an image of the dummy performing the Kazachok (a russian dance).

The head of an artist's dummy has cheek bone indentations. While this could not be transformed into LEGO bricks, a custom-made sticker would soon solve this problem - this can be seen on the image of the head.

Built in no more than 116 pieces, this model would make a nice decorative piece - or a useful tool - for art enthusiasts anywhere. I envisage a price of between £19.99 and £24.99 ($33.66 - $42.08 as of date of submission) but obviously this will probably be up to the LEGO group.

If this project gains 1,000 supporters in any given month, I will post building instructions, although I must warn that some pieces aren't available anywhere in Sand Yellow (the colour I have used in the images).

Thanks for your time, fellow builders, and feel free to ask any questions - but don't forget to support the project!
