FROM REEL TO ROLL: START YOUR OWN PRODUCTION LINE WITH THE MAFLEX TISSUE PAPER CONVERTER LEGO SET STARTING WITH THE UNWINDER
In the world of tissue converting, unwinders are the machines that accept and unwind tissue paper parent reels or Jumbo roll.
The Jumbo roll, also known as master roll, is a roll of tissue, paper or nonwovens characterized by large width and diameter. It is made by tightly wrapping the material around a spool on a dedicated machinery called winder and it covers the full width of the machine.
These unwinders are the crucial first step in converting tissue paper rolls intended for household use, such as toilet paper and kitchen towels. Proper paper tension and quick reel changes are the cornerstones of an efficient production process, and our LEGO model captures this essential part of the tissue production line.
This LEGO version of the tissue converting line starts right at the beginning with a top-loading model, accurately representing the initial stages of production!
