League of Legends Nine-Tailed Fox Ahri

The creation and introduction of the LEGO version of the character Ahri from League of Legends

In the past, I often saw people sharing game characters or anime characters made with Lego on the Internet. Every time I saw them I thought they were great and wanted to see them for myself, but at the time I knew nothing about creation.

It wasn't until 2014 that I first tried making Ahri in the then-popular League of Legends game. Although the overall appearance is small and the appearance is copied from other capable creators, an idea came to my mind that one day I must make my own Ahri.

This LEGO work is inspired by the popular character "Ahri" in League of Legends. As a nine-tailed demon fox, Ahri has a unique charming appearance and superb magical abilities. Her charming image and symbolic tail are well known to game players. This work cleverly combines Ahri's iconic red costume, nine-tail elements, and cute charm balls, successfully capturing the soul of the original character. In particular, Ahri's costume design and the shape of the nine-tails have become the focus of the author's highly restored Lego creation.

 1. Character analysis and design

The creative process started with detailed character analysis, studying Ahri's various looks in the game, and finally choosing Ahri's classic red and white theme costume. Make sure every detail is true to the original by observing the original sketch.

 2. Part selection and structure construction

The LEGO parts required for the creation include mainly red, white and gold components, with heart parts to recreate the charming effect. Technological parts are specially used to realize the flexible extension of the nine tails and support the entire work. At the same time, Lego's arc and bevel parts are cleverly used to express the curves of the clothing and the suppleness of the tail.

 3. Technical challenges and innovation

The biggest challenge in building this piece was balancing the character's posture with structural stability. In addition, in order to show the facial details of the character, Ahri’s eyes and expressions were innovatively built using small parts, giving the work more life.
