Thunderhawk is the primary vehicle used by Matt Trakker in the popular 80's cartoon "M.A.S.K." Its signature gull-wing doors allows it to convert from a sports car to a flying vehicle.
The Set
Thunderhawk is built on the same 8 stud wide chassis as the current Speed Champions line which makes it possible to fit 2 mini-figures. Speaking of mini-figures, the set comes with Matt Trakker and his "Spectrum" helmet.
I also tried to recreate the lightning details with LEGO elements instead of using decals.
