Based on different real world castles, the Cliffside Castle is a display architecture model design to evoke a sense of realistic fantasy. The castle sits atop a hill top with waterfalls and sheer cliff faces on all sides. Originally built as a gift for my mother as she's a huge fan of castles and has many display figurines, however only this one she can say she built herself. I believe it would make a great Lego set for it's relatively compact scale (roughly 24x40 studs in size), while also maintaining a great deal of fidelity in detail. This set was built in real life and therefore some colors were chosen based on part availability. Lego has made Castles in the past ranging from play sets, micro scales, large display pieces and even large play sets. This fits a scale somewhere in between a micro scale and a large display piece.
