In 2023 it will be the 65th anniversary of the first Paddington Bear story. The books by Michael Bond were first published in 1958.

The story tells of a little spectacled bear from darkest Peru. He was sent to London by his Aunt Lucy and was adopted by the Brown family. They named him Paddington after the London Train station where they first found him.

He travelled to London with his suitcase and is best known for his love of marmalade sandwiches, including one that he keeps hidden for emergencies!

I have tried to capture the loveable bear in a classic pose and wearing his trademark duffel coat and hat. He also has a couple of pigeon friends visiting and enjoying a sandwich with him.

As well as books Paddington has gone on to star in TV series's and 2 feature films.

I don't have a part count but would imagine it is around 500 pieces.

I'm sure he would bring much enjoyment to any home, just as he did to the Brown's.

Thank you for looking and please look after support this bear! 🐻
