Hello.
This is Gilafa sawtooth stag beetle(ギラファノコギリクワガタ/Prosopocoilus giraffa), a type of
stag beetle.
This is known as the world's largest stag beetle.
They have a magnificent appearance and are so popular with children.
I made this while looking at an illustrated book of insects again.
The hardest part was finding just the right parts to reproduce the
curve of the back.
I also tried to adjust the angle of the characteristic mandibles.
It took some time, but I am satisfied with the result.
