Gothic Style Architecture

Gothic architecture is a style that emerged in Europe during the High and Late Middle Ages. Characterized by its grandeur and verticality, Gothic buildings feature pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and flying buttresses, which allowed for taller structures and large stained glass windows. This architectural style aimed to create a sense of awe and transcendence and the intricate details, including sculptures and ornate facades, reflect the artistic aspirations of the era, making Gothic architecture a hallmark of medieval Europe.

All of this I wanted to show in my design. This diorama is only a fragment of a gothic building, but it is made in such a scale that it would be possible to portray all the details described above.

Such a diorama can be a fantastic decoration for every fan of architecture, gothic style and of course Lego - it could even serve as a bookend.

In addition, this set can also serve as the start of a series of Lego sets showing different styles of architecture.
