Fly around in a historic plane with power functions!
The Fairey Rotodyne was an eccentric kind of flying vehicle- it was a Heliplane! And it flew, alright. But why did we not see this flying as a commercial plane. It was an extremely good cargo/passenger plane, but it was too loud, so it wasn't approved.
The functions of this model of the plane include working rotors, moving ailerons, and an opening passenger door. It uses about 1050 pcs., and is 53 cm long and wide, and 30 cm tall. It features lots of geared mechanisms, and cool building techniques (see the cockpit, for example).
