Welcome to the magical island of Sodor, where steam engines come to life and embark on thrilling adventures. Meet Thomas the Tank Engine, a cheerful blue locomotive with a heart of gold.
Thomas & Friends hold a special place in my heart. As a kid, I loved watching Thomas and his friends go on adventures. This series is probably also the reason why I have a soft spot for model trains and Lego trains. My new project combines the best of both worlds, you could say.
The design consists of just under 698 bricks and includes 2 minifigures: Sir Topham Hatt (aka The Fat Controller) and a general train conductor. The train is 8 studs wide and is designed as a display model with a light-up function. Nevertheless, the model can be easily converted into a working train.
I've created the background for this project by myself and the "Thomas & Friends" logo should be handled as a printed tile or a sticker element.
I had a lot of fun designing this model, and now I'm looking forward to your feedback.
