Working on 03 and rendered images!!

Nero's helicopter is done, but Pyrka's vehicle hadn't started yet...

And I took the advice.  I rendered my ideas!

I can't really tell the different except the white back ground...

I will change the posing and update the images with 03 which looks like:

No... That was the building process... and the idea is...

Yes, there is a string. Like Pinocchio with lots of strings, not Ultron with no string...

Project Elements!

Working on 05

I just finished about 80 percent of my fifth Project Elements Idea.  It is vehicle for Pyrka.  I like its play feature.  However, I think it doesn't look so great and the minifigure is not sitting in its cockpit.  It reminds me my bad looking creation when I was 8 or to 12.  Forget about it.

Actually, while I was building it, it reminded me 7649 MT-201 Ultra-Drill Walker from 2008 Mars Mission (link) and 9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush from 2012 Ninjago (link).  Now I realize it is hard to combine them to create a cool set.  I wish someone can give me some bricks, so I can really build it, test it, and improve it...

This is the weird side view...

I may need to revised it...

This is the angle view...

Process of coming out background story

Well, it is not completely about a process.  It is like a way of thinking, I guess.  And yes!  I created the whole theme by myself based on my style of building, but also limited myself not to use the pieces that are not produced anymore.  You can go to Brickset to take a look.  And then I want to start talking about my "step".

First, I made the Ice Mobile, but I was going to name it something like "futuristic car."  Browsing the Lego Ideas site, I realized for most of the ideas that had made into product, they all had their own background stories.  In other words, to sell products, it is good to have a theme or background story.  However, to come out a good story is not easy.  For me, my personal speaking, I think Chima has a very weak story plot...  A conflict between brother and sister turned out to a war between lion tribe and crocodile tribe.  Later, phoenix tribe suddenly appeared because of those frozen zombies!?  Back to my story, I wanted to include something a little bit serious, like politics.  If your state is not governed by your favored governor, you probably will get angry, too.  I used the idea.  As I had learned something in my college, I needed not only "unity", but also "variety."  I needed more tribe/group of people, but not like Chima which is overpopulation.  I tied it back to the classical elements and created four major cities/groups.  In the end, I needed names for my characters.  Okay…  I was a little bit making fun of the classical elements, Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle.  Also, I still feel bad about what ancient Greek people didn’t…  Not smart enough, not open-minded enough to think Democritus is right.  People had to wait Dalton’s atomic theory in 18th century.  So... I used their name to name my character.  In my story, I just let Democritus to leave Eleton.  And then, I don't want to spoil~~

Update!!

Hi everyone!

I am Cemodin.  This time I bring you the Defender's HQ.  Since I am almost free right now and I am not traveling, I had enough time design this HQ less than a week.  However, there is something I feel bad about it.  That is I didn't really put a single gear or other Technics thingy in it, so I improved its play feature: training place which has a dummy, kitchen place which has a refrigerator, workshop which has a motor bike, command room which has many A-shape pieces, second floor which has many trap pods, and a gate which has Nexo Knight's shields on it.

While I was building it, I read some instruction, like Exo Force, Ghostbuster (that is where the refrigerator comes from), Space Police, Mars Mission...  You can read them before you building your own model.  It is like a textbook to inspire you.  It helps!  About the minifigures, I want to talk about "the invader."  The looking of it is referred to one of the character from different "Universe"...  Red clothes and purple katana...  Ha ha...  Well...  Hope you like it.
