This is my LEGO creation of one of my favourite scenes in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, which depicts Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood feeding thestrals together in the Forbidden Forest.
The model I have built is of a small section of the Forbidden Forest, similar to that made for the previous Forbidden Forest set in the latest wave of LEGO Harry Potter sets. The small-but-sweet set compromises of a large tree, some plants, a grey owl and two thestrals, in addition to the two minifigures. Sets like the Forbidden Forest and Freeing Dobby from the latest LEGO Harry Potter wave gave fans a chance to get some exclusive minifigures, as well as rare pieces, at an affordable price, and so I felt that there was still room for other smaller Harry Potter-based sets.
The figures included with this set are Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood. (The figures pictured are just illustrations of who they would represent.) The small set contains only 58 pieces, and I would estimate this as costing around £8.00- £10.00, based off the last wave of Harry Potter sets, though of course, I'm not entirely sure how LEGO figure out their costings!
With the upcoming release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, I thought that LEGO revamping and bringing back the Harry Potter theme would give younger fans who may have missed out on the latest wave of sets, a chance to get into this magical theme.
Thanks so much for viewing my project! If you like my idea, please support this to help bring back the wonderful Harry Potter theme. Any comments or improvements you have, I would love to hear. Thank you!
