I have created a Zen Garden based on ancient Japanese architecture. It features a large Japanese building along with a smaller tea house, connected to each other by a cobbled path. There is also a large cherry blossom tree, flower garden and a large pond with a few frogs.
I built this model as I am fascinated by Japanese architecture and the beauty of nature. I wanted to create a good display model which shared these interests.
I think this would make a good LEGO set as it would be a good display piece but also a good play piece as there are lots of exposed studs for minifigure posing and the buildings can be moved. I feel the selection of Japanese and East Asian themed LEGO is very limited and this would be a great way to expand that selection.
