Inflated Pufferfish

Hello, fellow builders! I'm back with yet another aquatic build! I hope you enjoy my latest, the Inflated Pufferfish!

If you don't already know, I find aquatic life really fun and interesting, and pufferfish are no exception! While they're not the most beautiful fish in the ocean, they're very unique and fascinating! The ability to inflate themselves with air or water when threatened, is pretty amazing! Aside from that awesome feature, their appearance is quite comical and even cute, and I tried to capture that in this build!

I'm not sure what the name of the puffer is that I based the model off of, but it belongs in the family Tetraodontidae. Members of this family are mostly poisonous and highly toxic to most animals when eaten. That said, the meats from certain species are considered a delicacy in Japan (if prepared properly).🤔

This is probably the first pufferfish I've ever made! I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! To shape the head of the puffer, I used hinges on either side of the mouth. Also, I used a finder piece for the mouth, which worked well. The base of the model was pretty easy to make, since it was composed of lots of corals and sea weed.

What other fish would you like to see? I would love to see your suggestions down in the comments!
