I've always been interested in aviation, so I decided to build this fully function flight joystick that works by simply using your computer mouse. By placing a computer mouse into the model, you are able to control many games and flight simulators, and feel just like a real pilot.
The mechanism works perfectly and is incredibly fun to use.
Features of the model include:
- Working trigger (for activating functions such as lowering the landing gear or extending flaps)
- Adjustable table mount/clamp (puts the joystick at a lower and more comfortable position)
- A 2 axis gimbal for controlling both role and pitch
- Works with most computer mice of the same size and allows the mouse to be easily removable
