1) What is it?
This is a micro-train set. It features four cars - locomotive, passenger car, box car, and caboose. The landscape includes land, a mountain tunnel, and some train signs next to the road to keep cars back. It has 165 pieces, is 8.5" long, 4.1" wide, 1.7" high, and weighs just over 5 ounces.
2) Why did you build it?
I built it because I enjoyed the challenged of building a micro-scale set. Many times, the micro-scale models are individual items (like what you might see in an Advent calendar), but I wanted this to be a complete set including landscaping.
3) Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO set?
I think there are plenty of other LEGO fans who enjoy the micro-scale size builds. Also, this would appeal to any train fan. It would be a nice display piece on their desk or shelf.
