San Siro Stadium Milan Italy

This Lego set represents the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan (Italy), also known as the San Siro Stadium. The home matches of AC Milan and Inter Milan, numerous concerts by international artists, and other sporting and other events are played here. The stadium was built in 1925 and underwent multiple extensions and renovations in the years 1935, 1955 up to the current structure built in 1990 for the World Cup. Four Champions League finals (1965,1970,2001,2016), some World Cup matches in 1934, 1990 and the European Championship in 1980 have been played in this stadium. In addition, world famous singers such as Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Vasco Rossi and many others have performed here. I decided to make it because there is no Lego set of an Italian stadium on the market and with its 75817 seats it is the largest stadium in Italy. Since a new stadium is to be built soon and this one is in danger of being demolished as a result, I would like to leave a memory by making it with Lego bricks.
