I believe that the Goonies would make a wonderful addition to the Lego Ideas family. It is a fun and exciting adventure story that easily engages the imagination to seek adventure and friendship. The Goonies, one of the most iconic movies of the 1980's, is still an icon in pop culture . When I was a kid, I used to watch the movie with my family and cousins every Thanksgiving. After our meal we would often dream up an adventure, create a map, and look for buried treasure. The Goonies is filled with lovable characters like Chunk and Sloth. It is such a great story about love, hope, acceptance, and, adventure.
My campaign offers up all our favorite characters in Mini-Figure form, as well as stirring our imagination by providing a memorable 3 in 1 scene that will enable all to re-enact the story/adventure. This set idea is made of 100% Lego parts/elements.
