The Ukulele- the best and easiest string instrument
The Ukulele has always been a part of my life since I was little. I have taken classes, watched videos, and much more just because I have such a passion for this instrument. You can play any song with just a few chords.
Of course, my biggest passion is the one for building LEGO models. And with those two passions, I always wanted to combine them into one thing.
You can't build a LEGO element out of Ukuleles, but you can build a Ukulele out of LEGO elements, and that's what I wanted to do.
The LEGO Ideas Stratocaster has shown me that it is possible to build LEGO string instruments.
The most challenging part for me was getting the correct proportions of an actual Ukulele.
I have used as many plates as possible to represent the wooden fibers.
I have used a 6x6 tile in black for the illusion of the ukulele's hollowness because this element doesn't reflect light as much as a regular tile.
This model contains about 400 pieces.
I'm very satisfied with the final product and if you feel the same way, please consider leaving a vote.
Thank you very much :)
