Imagined from the extreme sport of 'Flare Riding' briefly described in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, this is a super fast and agile competition class starship built specifically to ride the solar flares of yellow and red giant suns, with independently adjustable thrusters to deftly navigate the immensly dangerous and unpredictable forces given off by the flares.
Only the richest, bravest, fearless and generally insane pilots dare to even attempt this sport due to the sheer pressure, heat and unpredictability the flares constantly present. Definitely not for the faint of heart... or sane!
