2.Why you built it?

I love Chinese culture.

During the long period of development, the LEGO brand has different branches, involving different fields and different cultures.

The drum is a traditional Chinese percussion instrument. It was used also as a tool to spread information.

The big drum used to tell time is also called "Jiechen Drum" and is often placed on the drum tower of the city. For example, the Drum Tower on the central axis of Beijing city, together with the Bell Tower, became the time telling center of Beijing during the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The "evening drum and morning bell" made the whole city orderly and followable.

3.Why you believe it would make a great LEGO set?

I noticed that there weren't so many sets about Chinese culture and architecture, I'd like to have a try and this could be a good start.
