Life is full of stress. When you try to get away from it, to find your peace, you go outside. You are in Japan. Out there is a beautiful pool of glistening water. The water lilies on the top are perfect and symmetrical. Then, underneath you see a shimmer of orange. You witness two dazzling fish swimming together in this glistening pond. You feel at peace.
Koi fish are beautiful fish that are used in Japan and across the world as ways to bring beautiful peace. Here I have striven to create that peace. On the surface on the pool, there are some lily pads and a few water lilies.
Then, underneath that there are two swimming koi with rich green foliage beneath them.
To enhance the display, I didn't add a frame or a border underneath the water, but chose to leave it open, giving one the feeling of free, still water.
