Armadillo Girdled Lizard

Resembling a small wingless dragon, this magestic reptile inhabits rocky deserts in South Africa. Its sandy coloured skin is covered in spikes and if it feels threatened it curls itself into a ball, holding on to its tail with its mouth, in order to protect the softer underside.

With fully articulated legs, tail and neck, I tried to represent it as realistically as possible. My idea for the set includes a platform with an earth mound for the lizard to feel at home, so adult builders can proudly display it, much like an Architecture set.

Thanks for the support!!
