1) What is it?
This is the Galactic Police Prisoner Transfer Pod. When criminals flee from one galaxy to the next, it is up to the Galactic Police to track them down and bring them to justice. After the Galactic Police find the criminal and capture him, they can bring him back to the Galactic Court in this Prisoner Transfer Pod (PTP). This small spacecraft has a cabin for the driver and a holding cell in the back for the prisoner. The holding cell is sealed by a retractable force field, so the driver does not have to worry about the prisoner trying to escape from the ship. This model contains 220 pieces, is 5.3" wide, 5.4" long, 3.7" high, and weighs about 6 ounces.
2) Why did you build it?
I built it because I like spaceships (Benny would be proud...."SPACESHIP!"). It is also a nod to the old LEGO theme of Space Police. The pilot even has an old Space Police uniform as a reference to that theme.
3) Why do you believe this would make a great LEGO set?
It seems like two of the most popular LEGO themes are police and space. This small but powerful set combines both of those favorites into one. This would go great with any space display fans may have.
