Concorde was an Anglo French project that began in the 1950's to develop a passenger aircraft capable of supersonic speeds. Based around 4 Rolls Royce/Snecma 593 afterburning turbojet engines, Concorde was capable of speeds just over twice the speed of sound (Mach 2.04) or 1,354mph equivalent to the fastest fighter aircraft in military service at that time.

This model is a depiction of the original model 001 Concorde that took off from Toulouse on 2nd March 1969 with red markings along both flanks and a black band on the tail. the model also features realistic engine inlet and exhaust, landing gear, moving ailerons and the drooping nose synonymous with the Supersonic Transport Type.
